Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This policy explains how Service Edge Digital (“we,” “us”) handles information. We act in two roles: as a business that collects information from visitors to this website, and as a service providerthat processes information on behalf of the local service businesses who hire us (“clients”). When we process a client's customer information, we do so under the client's instructions and only to provide the service.
Information we collect
From website visitors
- Contact and booking details you provide (name, email, phone, business) when you book a call or reach out.
- Basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used to keep the site secure and working.
On behalf of our clients (the service)
- Call audio, recordings, and transcripts of calls handled by the automated assistant.
- Caller details a customer provides — name, phone number, address, and job details.
- Appointment and call activity generated while delivering the service.
How we use information
- To answer calls, book jobs, and send booking-related texts — the service itself.
- To operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account or inquiry.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers we rely on
We use trusted third parties to deliver the service, and share only what each needs to do its job — for example: telephony and messaging (e.g. Telnyx, Twilio), the voice assistant (e.g. Retell AI), payments (Stripe), scheduling (Cal.com), email (Resend), e-signature (DocuSign), and database/hosting (Supabase). Each is bound to protect the information and use it only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Clients can request deletion of their data or their customers' data, subject to those obligations.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit access to systems that need it, and separate the components that read untrusted content from those that can take sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you promptly if something goes wrong.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us below; we will verify and respond as the law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
If your information was collected by us on behalf of a client (for example, because you called a business that uses our service), your request is best directed to that business; we will help them fulfill it.
Cookies & analytics
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and understand basic, aggregate usage. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
