What it costs, in full, before you talk to us.

Every number is on this page — installation as well as monthly. If you can see the whole cost up front and still want the call, that’s a better conversation for both of us.

Start here

Operations Diagnostic — $2,500, two weeks

Before we sell you anything to run, we find out what your phone is actually doing.

  • Call-flow analysis on your real phone records
  • Missed-call and after-hours leakage, quantified
  • Booking-funnel review — what happens to the calls you do answer
  • A written report with a prioritised roadmap

Credited in full against installation if you go ahead. If you don’t, you keep the report.

What installation actually covers

Installation is a one-time project, not a signup fee. It runs two weeks to go-live and it’s most of the work.

  • Voice agent configured and trained on your services, your pricing, your service area, your FAQs, and your escalation rules
  • Number porting or forwarding, set up with your carrier
  • Calendar and CRM integration
  • 200+ scripted test calls before a single customer hears it
  • Staff training, so your people know what it does and when to take over
  • Written SOPs you keep
  • 30 days of hypercare after go-live — we watch every call and fix what needs fixing

At $6,000 for Front Desk, that’s roughly 2.4× the monthly. That ratio is normal for done-for-you implementation, and we’d rather show you the number than bury it in a custom quote.

What you’d otherwise be paying

The honest comparison isn’t against software you run yourself — it’s against the person or service currently answering, or not answering, your phone.

Full-time receptionist$3,750–5,600/moLoaded cost. Covers business hours, one at a time, and takes holidays.
Live answering service$400–1,000/moUsually takes a message rather than booking the job, and often charges per minute.
Front Desk$2,500/moAnswers every call, day or night, and puts the job on your calendar while it has the caller on the phone.

Want the other side of that comparison? Work out what the missed calls are costing you — your numbers, and we make no claim about them.

Questions owners ask

I’ve seen AI answering apps for $49 a month. Why is this more?

Because those are software and this is a service. With a $49 app you configure it, write the prompts, connect your calendar, register with the carriers, and fix it yourself when it books wrong at 9pm. That’s a real option and for some shops it’s the right one. What you’re buying here is somebody else doing all of that, tuning it on your actual calls, and answering the phone when it isn’t working. Different model, not a better app.

Why does installation cost more than the monthly?

Because installation is where the work is. Two weeks of configuring the agent on your services and pricing, porting or forwarding your number, wiring up your calendar, running 200+ test calls, training your staff, and writing the SOPs you keep. The monthly is what it costs to run and keep tuning it after that. Most done-for-you implementation runs around 2–3× the monthly — we’d rather show you the number than hide it in a custom quote.

What’s the diagnostic actually for?

To find out what your phone is really doing before either of us commits. We pull your call records, work out how many calls go unanswered and when, look at what happens to the ones that do get answered, and write it up with a prioritised roadmap. Two weeks, $2,500, and it comes off the installation in full if you go ahead. If it turns out you don’t have a phone problem, we’ll tell you that and you’ll have paid $2,500 to find out — which is cheaper than paying us for a year to fix the wrong thing.

How long until it’s live?

Two weeks from kickoff to go-live, then 30 days of hypercare where we watch every call and fix what needs fixing — day 1 to day 45. The one thing that can push it is carrier registration for text messaging, which is out of our hands. We start that on day one so it isn’t what holds you up.

Will it sound like a robot?

Judge it yourself before you pay anything. On our call we put it live and you throw it your real scenarios — the 9pm no-heat emergency, the price shopper, the caller who won’t get to the point. It handles interruptions and it doesn’t read from a script. It also says it’s an AI in its opening sentence, because several states require that and because pretending otherwise is a bad way to start with your customer.

What if I already have an answering service?

Bring your last invoice to the call. Compare on three things: what it costs a month, whether it covers nights and weekends, and whether it can put a job on your calendar without ringing you first. If you’re better off where you are, we’ll say so.

Is the texting legal? I’ve heard about fines.

Yes, and we take it seriously because the fines land on you. We only text customers who’ve given consent, we never send marketing texts outside 8am–9pm in your customers’ local time, and anyone who replies STOP is removed immediately and permanently. We register you properly with the mobile carriers during installation, which is also what keeps your messages from being filtered as spam.

Can I cancel?

Month-to-month after installation, 30 days’ notice either side. Your phone number is yours — if you leave, we port it back within 10 business days at no charge. Your data is yours too, and you can have a full export any time you ask. Those are in the terms, not just on this page.

What happens in a slow season?

You can pause at 50% of your monthly for up to three months in any twelve — the system keeps running, we just aren’t actively managing it. Home services is seasonal and we’d rather do that than lose you over a quiet quarter.

Start with the diagnostic.

Two weeks, $2,500, and a written answer to how much work your phone is losing. It comes off the installation in full if you go ahead.
